American Council on Science and Health
ACSH is a consumer education consortium concerned with issues related to food, nutrition, chemicals, pharmaceuticals, lifestyle, the environment and health.


Children's Health Environmental Coalition
CHEC’s mission is to inform parents and all those concerned with the welfare of children about preventable health and development problems caused by exposures to toxic substances in homes, schools and communities and to encourage the public to take action to protect children against these toxic threats.


The Children's Environmental Health Network
The Network’s mission is to promote a healthy environment and to protect the fetus and the child from environmental hazards. Three areas of concentration for the network are education, research, and policy.


Environmental Defense
Environmental Defense is dedicated to protecting the environmental rights of all people, including future generations. Among these rights are clean air and water, healthy and nourishing food, and a flourishing ecosystem.


Healthy Schools Network
Healthy Schools Network, Inc. is a national not for profit organization, centered on children's environmental health, and dedicated to assuring every child and school employee an environmentally safe and healthy school through: research, information and referral, advocacy and coalition building.


Institute for Children's Environmental Health
ICEH, founded in 1999, is a non-profit educational organization working to ensure a healthy, just and sustainable future for children and the planet. The primary mission of ICEH is to reduce and ultimately eliminate environmental exposures that can undermine the health and well-being of children


National Center for Environmental Health
To provide national leadership, through science and service, that promotes health and quality of life by preventing or controlling those diseases, birth defects, disabilities, or deaths that result from interactions between people and their environment.


National Safety Council Environmental Health Center
NSCEHC’s mission is to foster improved public understanding of significant health risks and challenges facing modern society.


The Natural Resources Defense Council
NRDC is the Nation’s most effective environmental action organization. They use law, science, and the support of more than one million members and online activists to protect the planet’s wildlife and wild places and to ensure a safe and healthy environment for all living things.


Physicians for Social Responsibility
EnviroHealthAction (a program of Physicians for Social Responsibility) is an education and action center that provides an online community for health professionals and others interested in environmental health. It is designed to provide busy professionals with the opportunity to access important resources and deliver valuable input to policymakers. The goal at EnviroHealthAction is to bring the health professional voice to the forefront of the environmental health discussion.


The Science and Environmental Health Network
SEHN advocates the wise application of science to protect the environment and public health. Founded in 1994, SEHN serves as both network and think tank for the environmental movement, helping environmental organization use science in their work, guiding scientists to public interest research and public policy with science grounded in ethics and logic.


Trust for America's Health
Trust for America’s Health is a national non-profit organization whose mission is to protect the health and safety of all communities from current and emerging health threats by strengthening the fundamentals of our public health defenses


World Resources Institute
World Resources Institute is an environmental research and policy organizations that creates solutions to protect the planet and improve people’s lives. WRI’s work is concentrated on achieving progress toward four key goals: Protect Earth’s living systems, increase access to environmental information, create sustainable enterprise and opportunity, and reverse global warming. WRI is an independent, non-partisan organization that works closely with governments, the private sector, and civil society groups in more than 100 countries around the world.
